I took this picture right after the royal changing of the guard by the Palace Royal in Madrid, Spain. This was one of the first moments of relaxation right after this troop had finished their week on guard. This woman was beautiful and proud, someone I had to photograph.

I can’t tell you the story of my life because I’m nowhere near done living it. What I can tell you is that it’s been a fantastic adventure so far. I’ve lived all over Washington State, from Bellingham to Pullman, and had the pleasure of exploring the amazing diversity of this state. I love to be outdoors camping, hiking, climbing, biking, snowboarding, and enjoying the beauty of nature. My love for nature is deeply rooted in my family. It seems like we were always on some adventure camping by lakes or rivers, cooking fish we caught that day on the campfire, and sleeping out under the open sky. Photography has allowed me to capture and share many of the awesome sights I’ve seen, and I strive get those photos that take my breath...
