Dad cut, hauled and stacked the wood that this little chipmunk decided to call home. Mom threw out the birdseed that this chipmunk ate all summer and stored in her log castle. So, how does the chipmunk say "thank you"? Well, of course, as all chipmunks do...by chittering, chattering, and guarding her home like she built it with her own two tiny hands. Smart little chipmunk, I say!

I’ve lived all over Washington State, from Bellingham to Pullman, and had the pleasure of exploring the amazing diversity of this state.
