This beautiful bay mare works hard on a ranch, cutting cattle and raising her young foal. She is loved and so she loves unconditionally...even a stranger walking to her fence to photograph her. She asks with her eyes, "Will you be my friend, too?" A handful of sweet grass and a rub on her nose are all I can offer, but that is enough. I too am loved by this gentle soul.

I can’t tell you the story of my life because I’m nowhere near done living it. What I can tell you is that it’s been a fantastic adventure so far. I’ve lived all over Washington State, from Bellingham to Pullman, and had the pleasure of exploring the amazing diversity of this state. I love to be outdoors camping, hiking, climbing, biking, snowboarding, and enjoying the beauty of nature. My love for nature is deeply rooted in my family. It seems like we were always on some adventure camping by lakes or rivers, cooking fish we caught that day on the campfire, and sleeping out under the open sky. Photography has allowed me to capture and share many of the awesome sights I’ve seen, and I strive get those photos that take my breath...
